Positive Affirmations

I am a big fan of saying daily positive affirmations! I definitely feel that they help manifest wonderful changes and it helps me stay positive and focused on my life goals! I have lists of them everywhere, and I make a habit of repeating them several times a day, every day! Here are a few of my favorites:

- Today is a beautiful day and will be full of happiness and love!
- All of my relationships are loving and harmonious!
- I am thankful for all the wonderful things in my life!
- I open my heart to allow wonderful things to come into my life!
- I am healthy, wealthy, happy and successful!
- I am prosperous!
- I am a loving, kind, generous person!
- I love and accept myself exactly as I am!
- I am healthy and full of energy!
- I send out love and it returns to me multiplied!
- I am grateful for everything I have received and will receive in life!

18 Rules for Living

Here are the 18 rules for living according to the Dalai Lama. I'm posting this in my home! So many great things to remember and try to live by...

DALAI LAMA’S 18 RULES FOR LIVING

1. Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

2. When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.

3. Follow the three Rs: Respect for self, Respect for others, Responsibility for all your actions.

4. Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.

5. Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.

6. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

7. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

8. Spend some time alone every day.

9. Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values.

10. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

11. Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll be able to enjoy
it a second time.

12. A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your life.

13. In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation. Don’t bring up the
past.

14. Share your knowledge. It’s a way to achieve immortality.

15. Be gentle with the earth.

16. Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.

17. Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other exceeds your need for each other.

 18. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Four Agreements

This is a reminder for myself! I've read the book but my copy is in storage in Atlanta, so I Googled it to refresh my memory. I thought I'd share it here!

The Four Agreements are:
1. Be Impeccable with your Word: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your Word in the direction of truth and love.
2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
3. Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.
